This amazing adventure incredibly combines the unique diversity of spectacular views of the majestic Himalayas and the exquisite beauty of nature with the exciting religious and ethnic encounters. It dramatically unfolds a myriad of wonders of nature ranging from the breathtaking panoramic view of the snow-capped stunning peaks soaring into the sky. The mythical ancient Buddhist monastery - Kyanjing Gompa. The cultural encounters with ethnics of this high and isolated region – a hardy and untouched Tamang and Sherpa whose culture and traditions are very similar to Tibetan culture residing in typical loving and picturesque villages, is exciting and unforgettable. In the Langtang National Park the rare red pandas lurk in dense lichen-draped rhododendron thickets, heards of blue sheep graze the alpine meadows and lammergeyers glide over glaciated valleys amidst scenery of lofty Himalayan peaks. 

The Langtang trek starts from Dhunche after an 8 hrs drive from Kathmandu.  Breathtaking Mountain views immerge on your ascent as the vegetation becomes sparser and the conditions more challenging. Following a trail upstream Bhote Kosi river through ethnic Tamang villages, lush green forests and the wide spread Kyangin valley surrounded by snowy peaks from all fours sides, takes you up to Kyangin at 3800 meter, where you get an excellent opportunity to ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350m.], from where the 360 degree mountain views are truly panoramic and irresistible. After an ascent of Kyangjin Ri, we retrace our route back down the valley to Syabru Besi and to Dhunche then drive back to Kathmandu. Due to gradual ascent along the river valley this Langtang trek is not considered strenuous, but yet, it remains challenging as it reaches an altitude of 3800 meter at Kyangjin.
