This fascinating and highly rewarding trek incredibly offers the great opportunities to experience the irresistible beauty of nature manifested in and around the stunningly tranquil, serene and virgin Lake Rara overshadowed by the breathtaking Himalayan panorama as well as the exotic cultural encounter with the warmly hospitable cheerful local folks of the untouched picturesque loving villages along with the delightful moments to view amazing abundant alpine wildlife. Endowed with beautiful pine, spruce and juniper forests, and the high altitude turquoise Rara (3062m), the five kilometers long and two kilometers wide, is the largest lake situated within Rara National Park in the remote far north west of Nepal. The pristine Lake Rara is also known as the ‘Queen of the Lakes’, and resembles ‘a blue nymph’ indulged in romance with magnificent mountains. The journey provide an ecstatic and exotic taste of natural wilderness and solitude and very much "off the beaten path" trek, unexplored and untouched paradise. The journey unfolds the fabulous culture, tradition and lifestyle of the local villagers known for their unique communal hospitality, a cherished memory and an unforgettable experience. It has the most fabulously rich flora and fauna with the exciting habitat for red panda, black bear, musk deer and many species of migratory birds including some unusual, rare and endangered wildlife.
