Day 1 Arrival Katghamndu.
Arrive Kathmandu, then transfer hotel for overnight and take rest.
Day 02 Full Day sightseeing.
As usual we begin our sightseeing tours after hearty breakfast to the following locations.
SwayambhunathStupa, a very sacred religious Buddhist shrine, also known as the “Monkey Temple”,3 km to the northwest of downtown Kathmandu, is a 2500 years old stupa situated on a hillock about 77 m above the ground level overlooking Kathmandu valley. SwayambhunathStupa is a golden spire crowning a conical wooded hill. It is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu Valley. It has a lofty white dome and a glittering golden spire that are visible from all sides of the valley. Historical records found on a stone inscription give evidence that the stupa was already an important Buddhist pilgrimage destination by the 5th century A.D.
Patan Durbar Square complex, situated in the center of Patan city, also known as Lalitpur, houses the residence of the former Patan royal family. It is one of the ten UNESCO World Heritage Site of the country. Patan Square and its surroundings are good specimen of ancient Newari architecture. There are three main courtyards in the palace: MulChowk, SundariChowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk. MulChowk, the oldest one, is at the centre of Patansquare.Several multi-sized and multi-styled temples occupy the western part of the complex. Main among these are ‘Krishna Temple’, ‘Bhimsen Temple’ and the Golden Temple of ‘Hiranya Varna’. Krishna Temple, which is the temple of red stone, is dedicated to Hindu ‘Lord Krishna’. It was erected in the 17th century, considered to be the first one to be constructed in Shikara architecture, holds a commanding position in the durbar square. The temple is compared with sacred ‘Mount Meru’, which is abode of the god Shiva according to Hindu scriptures. There is ‘Mahaboudha’, a Buddhist temple made of clay bricks, lies to the east of the Durbar Square. With Hundreds of Buddha images engraved in the bricks, Mahaboudha is known for its fine terra cota work.Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the heart of the capital, popularly known as the ‘Hanuman Dhoka Palace’ - the Gateway of Hanuman(God of monkey) - an ancient seat of Nepalese Royalty. The Palace, constructed from the 15th – 18th centuries, consists of the huge Royal square imposing a tremendous variety of the temples dedicated to different Hindu Gods and Goddesses including Taleju Temple, Sweta&Black Bhairab, Kumari (The living goddess), along with Basantapur tower. Listed as one of the ten UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site,
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. It is widely known as a social, religious and urban focal point of the Capital City with elaborately carved wooden windows and panels. It used to be a royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and is the site of important ceremonies and festivals of the nation. It also houses famous royal museum like TheKing Tribhuwan Memorial Museum and The Mahendra Museum.
Day 03 Kathmandu-Dhulikhel | 34km | 1 hours.
In the early morningwe go to the airport for the Mountain Flight after which we visit to the locations listed below for sightseeing tours.Everest Mountain Flight offered by different Domestic Airlines in Kathmandu Valley. This one hour thrilling flight takes you to the Eastern Himalayan Ranges of Nepal, some of the highest peaks in the world. This breathtaking flight gives the best opportunity to get the closest and magnificent view of Mount Everest (8,850m) and other tallest mountains - ShisaPangma (8,013m), GauriShanker (7134m), Melungtse (7023m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Pumori (8171m), Nuptse (7855m), Lhotse (8516m) &Amadablam (6856m). The flight are operated every morning from Kathmandu airport, flies in the altitude of 5000 – 7000 meters, and gets closer approximately five nautical miles from the highest peak of the world. Passengers are provided with individual window seats during the entire nerve tingling flight. Interested passengers are also invited to the cockpit from where they can take some spectacular pictures of the world’s tallest mountains.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an assortment of pagoda and shikhara-style-temples grouped around a fifty-five-window-palace of brick and wood. The square is part of a charming valley as it highlights the idols of ancient kings perched on top of stone monoliths and the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries. It has also been accorded with a prestigious status of UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Square also accommodates beautifully crafted Lion Gate, the massive gate that dates back to 1696 AD, which is guarded by two huge statues of lions at the either side of the gate with the dreadful stone image of Lord Shiva. Another masterpiece The Golden Gate is said to be the most beautiful and richly molded specimen of its kind in the entire world. As you go through inside the Golden Gate, one can see the brick walls with their gracious setting and sculptural design until reaching a balcony with fifty-five windows carved beautifully in a wood. South of Palace, there stands a beautiful Nyatapola, the most famous pagoda of Nepal, consists of five tiers symbolizing each basic elements of the universe - water, earth, fire, wind and sky.We continue to drive to Dhulikhel. Upon arrive check in the hotel, after refreshment, Dhulikhel sightseeing.Dhulikhel – Situated 1440meters above the sea level, this small town of Dhulikhel is widely known for beautiful art and intricate woodcarvings in the houses and temples. This place is surrounded by plethora of panoramic views of hills, valleys and the Himalayas, along with spectacular views of sunset and sunrise. Flocks of bird are everywhere over the sky of this town, where one can truly be one with nature by going on mountain biking and hiking.
Day 04 Kathmandu-Chitwan |148 km | 5 hrs |150 m.
After hearty breakfast, we drive to the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of southern central part of the country known as Chitwan, which houses a famous 932 square km Chitwan National Park. The park is also a World Heritage Site that shelters over 43 species of mammals, over 450 species of birds, and more than 45 species of amphibians and reptiles. Upon arrival, guests are taken to beautiful resorts followed by a refreshment and a briefing about the lodge facilities and travel program. Then after lunch, there will be slideshow presentation by a professional on the mammals, reptiles, birds, local people, village environment, flora & fauna, and natural history of the park. Later in the evening you are taken off to a walk through villages to uncover the living style of local people. The walk will end with a chance for all guests to interact with hospitable and cheerful villagers and explore their unique culture and traditions.
Day 05 Chitwan – Full Day Jungle Safaris.
In the morning, we go off on our elephant back safari into the Park to view the rhinos at close quarters. These rare one-horned Nepali rhinos are totally unaffected by the presence of the elephants, which allows us to get much closer look on these rare creatures. The expedition inside the park is a highlight of the trip to Chitwan, because it allows guests to see many beautiful peacocks, exotic Gharials (the freshwater Nepali crocodile), along with the mammoth rhinos up close and intimate. In the late afternoon, guests could take a traditional canoe for a thrilling adventure down the wide Raptiriver. At the end of the trip, guests can walk back with the ranger, who will introduce guests to the local wildlife, flora, and elephant breeding center. The trip is well-staffed to give you the most of your time while at the park, and make each guest’s elepahant-back-Safari a very thrilling experience for them.
Day 06 Drive to Pokhara| 130 km | 4 hrs | 850m.
Early morning guests are taken off to a walk through the jungle inside the Chitwan National Park for closer and vivid sightseeing of birds, animals, endangered species (gaur, wild elephant, four-horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, gangetic dolphin, monitor lizard, python, etc), and picturesque villages. After breakfast we drive to Pokhara. Four hour drive through an excellent view of fabulous foothills and spectacular mountain vistas, there comes a popular tourist destination called Pokhara. On arriving Pokhara, guests are immediately accommodated into gorgeous lakeside hotel from where each guests can acknowledge how naturally gifted the place is all around the place. Pokhara offers an incredible close up view of the snow-capped-peaks of the majestic Annapurna, also known as holy mountain of Machhapuchhare (“Fishtail”) just south of the famous lake called Phew Taal. Pokhara lakeside is a truly a relaxation paradise with a view of mammoth mountains right in front of you coupled with wide view of gorgeous lakes of Pokhara. To amplify the heavenly experience, the town of pokhara is well suited with excellent restaurants and diners for a pleasurable overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 07 Pokharafullday sightseeing in Pokhara.Sarangkot.
In the early morning, we undertake a short excursion tour to Sarangkot hill (1592 m) on the long mountain ridge skirting the north side of Lake Phewa. The hill has the best known for its great view of sunrise and sunset. From the top of the hill, guests could enjoy panoramic view of the snow-capped-Himalayan ranges coupled with beautiful hills, lush terraced green fields and picturesque villages. Sarangkot is paraglider’s paradise as it falls under the eight most adventurous places for paragliders in the world. In the evening, guests are back to hotel for one last overnight stay at the beautiful city of Pokhara. Next morning, guests are on their way to Kathmandu.Davids Fall: Witness a breathtaking and unique waterfall that lies just 2 Km from central Pokhara City. The water fall directly goes into a deep and narrow canal with no ends. It is believed that this waterfall took the life of a tourist named David, who fell down into the canal and was never found, and hence the name ‘David Waterfall’ was named in his memory by the people of Pokhara.
Boating:Enjoy the 1 hour long boat ride on this romantic Phewa Lake, shadowed by the gigantic range of Mt. Annapurna. With a magnificent Barahi temple’s in the middle of the lake, Phewa laketranforms into a religious center while enjoying the boating and touring the lake with a Mt. Annapurna in your front view.
Day 08 Pokhara – Kathmandu| 200 km |5 hrs |1350m.
After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu stopping in mid-way for guests to have lunch, leg stretches, and restrooms. Late afternoon, upon arriving Kathmandu, after lunch half day Kathamndu sightseeing.
BaudhanathStupa, 6 km east of downtown Kathmandu, is 36m high, built around the 5th century A.D., is one of the biggest and the oldest Buddhist shrine in the world. It is unique with its three level, mandala style, platforms. What Mecca is to the Muslims, this BoudhanathStupa is for Tibetan Buddhists. Every year thousands of pilgrims flock here from all over the Himalayan region to pay their tribute with great reverence to all Buddhist deities. The Stupa is recognized with the prestigious status of UNESCO World Heritage Site. In BuddhanathStupa, there are many monasteries or Gompa attractions all impressively adorned and colorfully painted. Pashupatinath, 5 km east of downtown Kathmandu along the side of Bagmatiriver, is the famous and biggest holiest temple of Hindus dedicated solely to Lord Shiva.
Pashupatinath Temple, which is regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. It’s astonishing architectural existence dates back to 400 A.D. It is one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in South-Asia with hundreds of Shiva Lingam shrines and icons of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Hindu pilgrims perform sacred rituals with the thrilling scene of burning funeral pyres. During the Shivaratri festival (February – March), over 200 thousand devotees and pilgrims, mostly from India, visit this temple and make ceremonial fires. The Temple is recognized with the prestigious status of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Cultural Dance Program with Dinner: In the evening you are invited to a typical but fascinating Nepali cultural folk dance program with an authentic Nepali dinner served with unique Newari cuisines. The culture of Nepal is embedded in the high peaks of Nepal, where tradition flows with its rivers and art traverses through its valleys with religion deeply embedded in the heart of its people. Day 09 Departure from Kathmandu.
As per your flight schedule today, we will transfer airport 3 hours prior to departure time, so we request you to get ready in the lobby 3 and half hours prior to departure.

Booking Terms

Please read carefully the terms in the conditions of contract. In completing and submitting the Booking Form, you agree to be bound by these conditions which constitute the agreement between South Asian Holidays and you. These conditions apply to the exclusion of any other terms or conditions unless they are set out in the Booking Form or are otherwise agreed to in writing by the parties. Previous dealings between the parties will not vary these conditions. No purported variation of these conditions will be effective unless in writing and signed by a person so authorized by South Asian Holidays Group.

1. HOW TO BOOK
To reserve your place on one of the trips, please complete the Booking Form and send it, together with a non-refundable deposit of $2000 for Expedition, $1000 for peak climbing, and $500 per person for Trekking, Tour and other conventional holidays to our bank account.

2. PAYMENT
The prices quoted in this websites are for payment by credit cards, debit cards, cash, check, money order or credit charge (the latter subject to surcharge). The balance of the trip price is payable to South Asian Holidays Group 150 days for Mt. Expedition and 90 days for Peak Climbing, Trekking & Tours. Unless otherwise specified, prices are quoted in United States Dollars and all payments must be made in United States Dollars.

3. AMENDMENTS/TRANSFERS AMENDMENTS
If you wish to make amendments to your trip arrangements, you must notify South Asian Holidays Group in writing. Each amendment to your trip arrangements will incur a $200 for Mt. Expedition, and $100 for peak climbing, trekking & tour as an administration fee. All administration fees must be paid before departure.

4. TRANSFERS
If you wish to transfer from one trip to another, you must notify South Asian Holidays Group in writing. Once South Asian Holidays Group receives your notice the transfer will take effect subject to the following. Transfers may only be made to another trip to commence within 6 months of your original departure date and the following transfer charges will apply::
* If your notice is received more than 150 days prior to your original departure date, no transfer fee will apply. But any increase in airfares or operational services will be payable by you: or
* If your notice is received more than 90 days prior to your original departure date, a $100 transfer fee will apply. In addition, any increase in airfares or operational services will be payable by you: or
* No transfer notice accepted that received within or less than 30 days prior to departure.
* No transfer notice applicable for all Expedition and Peak Climbing.

5. CANCELLATIONS POLICY
If you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify South Asian Holidays Group in writing. Once South Asian Holidays Group receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
* If cancellation takes place in between 90 - 150 days prior to your departure date, your full payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit:
* If cancellation takes place in between 30-90 days prior to departure 75% of your payment will be refund except the non refundable deposit.
* If cancellation takes place less than30 days prior to departure due to client's personal problems, all previously paid amount(s) will be forfeited.

6. HEALTH AND FITNESS REQUIREMENTS
Participants must be in good health and physical condition and are strongly advised to follow our pre-departure fitness training recommendations, where necessary. On receipt of your Booking Form, South Asian Holidays Group will send you a medical form to be completed by you or your doctor and returned to us as proof that you are fit enough to participate in the trip. This must be returned to South Asian Holidays Group at least 60 days prior to departure. If you suffer from severe muscular, chest, heart or bronchial disorders, or if you are a severe asthmatic, or have high blood pressure, you are strongly advised against participating. Trips take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Where necessary, evacuation can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Medical and evacuation expenses will be the responsibility of the participant. South Asian Holidays Group reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse a participant the right to participate in a trip on medical or fitness grounds.

7. MEDICAL DISCLOSURE
You declare and warrant that
* You are in good health and mental and physical fitness at the time of booking this trip.
* You have disclosed to South Asian Holidays Group every matter concerning your health and mental and physical fitness of which you are aware, or ought to reasonably be expected to know, that is relevant to South Asian Holidays Group's decision to permit you to go on the adventure trip
* Immediately upon any adverse change in your health or fitness that may be likely to affect South Asian Holidays Group decision to accept the risk of permitting you to go on the adventure trip, you will notify South Asian Holidays Group in writing of any such adverse change. You acknowledge that the obligation to disclose under this condition continues from the time of booking the trip through to departure and extends for the duration of the trip. If you fail to comply with the duty of disclosure in this condition and if South Asian Holidays Group would not have permitted you to undertake the trip, or continue participation of the trip, had you made full disclosure under this condition, South Asian Holidays Group will not be liable, except to the minimum extent required by law, for personal injury, death or property damage or loss incurred by you.

8. CANCELLATION DUE TO TOUR BOOKING NUMBERS
South Asian Holidays Group reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked on a trip in which case you will be given a full refund of the trip price paid by you. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes)..

9. ROUTE CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION OR DELAY
South Asian Holidays Group reserves the right to:
* Change the date of departure or conclusion of the trip, or
* Modify any aspect of the trip, or
* Cancel or modify any routes within the trip or objectives set out in the itinerary, or
* Substitute different or equivalent routes within the trip in place of cancelled or modified routes, or
* Postpone, cancel or delay (either in relation to the departure or arrival times or the duration of the tour) any such aspect of the tour if, in the absolute discretion of South Asian Holidays Group, it is necessary to do so due to inclement weather, snow or icy conditions or conditions that are otherwise likely to be hazardous or dangerous or due to any other adverse or threatening conditions whether political or military or terrorist or otherwise or if, in the absolute discretion of South Asian Holidays Group, there is a likelihood of any such event occurring which may impact upon the safety of the participants, or if an act or omission of a third party prevents the tour or the aspect of the tour being undertaken in accordance with your booking. In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay under this condition, you acknowledges that you will have no right of refund of the tour price (whether in whole or in part) and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss or damage or other additional expenses incurred by virtue of the change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay. South Asian Holidays Group also reserves, in its absolute discretion, the right to cancel any tour due to any government travel warning or advice, or any change in such warning or advice..

10. INSURANCE
Personal travel insurance is not included in the trip price. It is a condition of booking a trip with South Asian Holidays Group, and your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the trip in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items and cancellation and curtailment.

11. AIRLINE
Any material published by South Asian Holidays Group, the Booking Form and these conditions of contract are not issued on behalf of, and do not commit any airline whose services are used or proposed to be used in the course of the trip. In the event that an airline's proposed travel or fare schedule is amended or cancelled, such amendment or cancellation will not be considered a cancellation of the trip by South Asian Holidays Group.

12. TRIP PRICES
The prices are based on ground costs, fuel prices, airfares, exchange rates and assumptions made at the printing of the brochure. South Asian Holidays Group tries its utmost not to increase trip prices (in full or part), however sometimes increases are outside its control. South Asian Holidays Group reserves the right to amend trip prices (or any part) without notice at any time before and including the departure date. Amendments may be necessitated for many reasons including, but not limited to, exchange rate fluctuations, increased fuel costs, airfares, airport charges, increases in ground operator service fees, or the need to engage alternative air or ground operators. Any increase in trip prices must be paid prior to the departure date.

13. EXCLUSIONS FROM TOUR PRICE
The following items are excluded from the tour price:
* Personal travel insurance;
* Visa, passport and vaccination charges;
* Departure, airport and airline taxes
* Extra meals, transport costs, accommodation costs, or other expenses not included in the itinerary;
* Laundry, postage, personal clothing, medical expenses & items of a personal nature.
* Emergency evacuation and/or emergency surge charges;
* Garbage deposit for all peak climbing and expedition operated in Nepal; and
* Tips, onboard beverages and excess baggage charges. Refer to our trip itinerary for full details.

14. FORCE MAJEURE
If South Asian Holidays Group is prevented (directly or indirectly) from performing any of its obligations under this agreement by reason of act of God, strikes, trade disputes, fire, breakdowns, interruption of transport, government or political action, acts of war or terrorism, acts or omissions of a third party or for any other cause whatsoever outside South Asian Holidays Group reasonable control, South Asian Holidays Group will be under no liability whatsoever to you and may, at its option, by written notice to you either cancel the trip or take any other action as specified in condition 8.

15. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You acknowledge that:
* By the very nature of trip, Expeditions and Peak Climbing are more challenging and demanding with a commensurately higher level of risk than conventional holidays; and in the countries and regions in which trip is undertaken, standards of accommodation, transport, health care, hygiene, safety and service provision generally are often not as high as those standards in your country of residence and may require flexibility and patience on your part; and operational control of the tour may be in the hands of a third party and that your right of action in regard to any shortcomings of that third party's performance is against the third party and not against South Asian Holidays Group; and
* The additional dangers and risks associated with adventure travel may include difficult and dangerous terrain; high altitude; extremes of weather, including sudden and unexpected changes; political instability; remoteness from normal medical services and from communications; and evacuation difficulties in the event of illness or injury; and
* The enjoyment and excitement of trip is derived in part from the inherent dangers and risks associated with trip and that those inherent dangers and risks are a reason why you wish to undertake the trip, and
* You have submitted your booking for the trip after giving due consideration of relevant travel information including, without limitation, any relevant information or advice given by the governments of the United States Department of State and that it is your responsibility to acquaint yourself that information or advice, for the above reasons you therefore accept the inherent and increased dangers and risks associated with the proposed adventure trip and the accompanying risk of injury, death or property damage or loss.

16. DISCLAIMER
You accept that:
* South Asian Holidays Group acts as a booking agent for third-party tour operators and accepts no liability for the acts or omissions of those third-party tour operators; and
* South Asian Holidays Group will not be liable for any breach of any law by any person with whom you travel on the tour; and
* You may not rely on any representations concerning the tour made by South Asian Holidays Group which are not contained in these conditions.

17. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of South Asian Holidays Group accepting your booking application and in consideration of you being permitted by South Asian Holidays Group to join the tour:
* You release South Asian Holidays Group and its officers, employees, agents, licensees, guides and other representatives and the land management authorities in the countries in which the trip is conducted (each of whom are collectively referred to as ''South Asian Holidays Group and its employees'') from all cost, liability, loss or damage incurred or suffered by you directly or indirectly during the course of the trip and resulting from your personal injury, illness or death or damage to or loss of your property unless caused by the willful negligence or wrongful act of South Asian Holidays Group and its employees; and
